Do you have an amazing idea and dream about starting your own company one day? Whether it is for a business, a social project, a creative experience or anything else, we want to know about it! Win up to £3,000 grant funding and other prizes!
The Creative Spark Big Idea Challenge is now open for applications!
If you are a student, graduate or entrepreneur from Kyiv National Economic University, you can apply for a chance to win up to £ 3,000 to realize your own idea!
You can submit a project in one of the following categories:
- Digital Technology - includes ideas that involve the development and use of new software or hardware.
- Social Impact - for ideas that address issues of social inclusion and gender equality or that target underserved communities. It can be an environmental or social idea that helps those who need it most.
- Creativity is ideas for a new product, exhibition or way to make the cultural environment brighter. Ideas that help creative people reach new audiences will also be considered in this category
Eligibility criteria:
- Individuals or teams must be no more than three people; teamwork is recommended.
- The competition is held in English.
- Participants must be Ukrainian citizens between the ages of 18 and 35
- Only Students, alumni or young entrepreneurs from Kyiv National Economic University can participate.
- Participants are required to participate in activities offered within the KNEU Creative Spark program.
Prizes:
An international panel of judges selects finalists in each category, as well as a national champion who will receive £ 2,000 to develop and implement his idea, as well as a trip to London for the Start-Up Sprint Weekend.
In addition, there is an International People's Choice Public Vote category with a prize pool - £1000.
In addition to cash prizes in the form of commercial funding, winners will be offered business mentoring and other project support.
What should be done?
- Participate in KNEU Creative Spark events and register at the KNEU Entrepreneurship Center website https://cfe.kneu.edu.ua/ and the Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/kneucfe/
- Fill out the participation form in English;
- Download a 60 second English video about your idea. The video must be uploaded to Youtube by inserting a link to it in the application.
- Under the terms of the organizers of the competition - British Council, the University can only submit 10 applications!
